The Interests of God:

Do you seem to be making no progress in your prayer life?  Let’s take a look at it.  Is it filled with prayer lists, prayers for healing, for family members, for those to return to the Church.  If this is so, then you need only offer God the prayers which the Savior has poured out for us in the sacrament of the altar.

One needs to become concerned about the interests of God, and let go of the interests of self, even though they may seem to be good prayers.  If one is interested only in God’s interests, then God will be interested only in your interests.  Let go of self, and self desires.

In the course of every activity, pray as follows:  “My God, I do ‘this’ or I endure ‘that’ in the heart of your Son and according to his holy counsels. I offer it to you in reparation for anything blameworthy or imperfect in my actions.”

Every time some punishment, affliction, or injustice comes your way, say to yourself: “I accept this as sent to me by the Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ in order to unite myself to Him.”  Above all, preserve peace of heart, this is more valuable than any treasure.

There is  nothing more valuable than renouncing your own will and substituting for it the will of the divine heart.  This way will carry out for us whatever contributes to his glory, and we will be happy to be his subjects and to trust entirely in Him. ( St Margaret Mary)

You can see that from when Christ formed His Church, and through the many writings of the Saints, we have been given the mandate, to go forth and multiply.  There is more to this statement than just in a marital relationship.  Yet, as I have been expressing the importance of the Sacrament of Marriage, if one cannot have their marriage holy, peaceful, and pleasing to our Father, with all things done in the sacrifice of one’s will to the other, neither can one give up their will to fully live in the Will of God.  They will continually step back into their will, as straddling a fence, one day choosing will of God, one day choosing their own will.

When we pray it must God’s concerns and His desires in our heart.  If you are having this difficulty, I suggest you lay down your active prayers, including the rosary, and go to the Blessed Sacrament Chapel and close your eyes and quietly say, ‘Lord Jesus, have mercy on me, a poor sinner.’

Our Blessed Mother, will gently lead you to the silence of a rosary in your heart which will lead you to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

We must come to the Triumph of the Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary in our hearts, clean and purged of all sin, meeting as three in one, a burst of light which will lead us to a mystical incarnation in the womb of Our Beloved Mother Mary.

This takes work on our part, to never give life to our will and desires.

Through the mercy of God, His incredible love, and you receiving the justice deserved, you can climb this mountain to a pure heart.

Oh, what a beautiful and most incredible climb when you suddenly and finally love your brother the way you are meant to, to the death. Not only friend, but enemy as well, you have only the desire that they love God as God longs for their soul in your being.  You rest with our Sorrowful Mother, in their hearts, ready to be drawn into this sorrow at the bidding that the Holy Spirit may pray in you.
